The Amazing World of Online Auctions

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

Lo and behold, the moment that we’ve all been waiting for, or at least those of us in the know, or even in the hope we know — that wonderful day has come.

The Big Ticket Depot website is up and running, with big ticket items to buy and sell all ready for your frenetic bidding pleasure. Big Ticket Depot has taken many a moon to get set up, the client end of things at any rate, but now, thanx to the due diligence of the bunch charged with its entire fine-tuning, Netizens can bid on, buy and sell specifically big ticket items via the Internet.

Are you grinning like a deranged banshee on PCP-laced jimson weed cookies at the thought of getting yourself a lovely dinning room set for a mere sixty-six hundred smackers like the one introduced here:

“This double pedestal dining table continues to be one of Kindel Funiture Company’s best selling dining tables. The tabletop is made of figured mahogany veneers with a cross-banded ribbon border and thin maple inlaid line. The caster are solid brass. Table includes custom-made pads, including those for the four leaves. (The pads sell for another $1,000 but will be included in the price). Corners of table are rounded. The table alone sells for around $9,000 currently.”

Wow! I don’t know about you, but just thinking of a succulent meal served on that baby, I salivate like crazy. Mahogany and maple! Brass and casters! A pedestal and pads, veneer and leaves! It’s almost too much to imagine. So, don’t bother trying and instead, just take a look.

And that’s not all! Over in this corner, by the famous sculpting artist Dave Powell of Montana, we have for all you fans of big prairie Western lore, “Mountain Chief Bronze”, for merely $28,500 if you buy it right now. Don’t wait too long, or it might get snatched up once the bidding gets going.

Or, there is an actual Persian carpet, the bidding on which starts at only $4500!! Wow, again! A Persian carpet — who knows, maybe it even flies. That would be just too cool!

But anyway, the entire point of this here entry is to inform all of you out there that Big Ticket Depot has finally fully jumped into the fray of big time online auction bidding, buying and selling. And you, too, can be collecting tons of big ticket items for your personal, private museums, items to be seen only by your celebrity friends and any other VIPs wandering around in your periphery.

Now, if, unfortunately, you are not disgustingly wealthy, but struggling to make your first few millions, I wholeheartedly recommend, in my most humbly sincere lust-for-lucre mode, grab your own Big Ticket Depot affiliate broker website to yank healthy commissions out of the pockets of private museum patrons by selling them big ticket items through the Internet. It’s totally the way to go.

Tips To Save a buck With PPCs

Monday, June 22nd, 2009

As job loses seem to be the norm many have been turning to making money online. One of the quickest ways to get direct visits to a website is to use search engine ads. But if you don’t learn the ways to create it just right you could find yourself lossing big money fast. So use these tips to lower your cost on your pay per clicks.

New customers are hunting for a real bargain. You need to let the consumer see how much they can save in your advertising. Let your guest know that you have top quality for a low cost. Say something like 10% off brand B product or save by date in your ad. Also use words like save or discount in your campaign to add more of a value to your campaign.

Avoid using phrases that just sound good. Use phrases that people are actually typing in the search engines. Use a keyword tracker to find out what customers type in to find a product. Then incorporate those keywords into your landing page to make the body of your copy more relevant. Then build your ad campaign around the phrase. This will help reduce your bounce rate.

You must limit useless click so use the negative keyword box to delete any wrong placing. To get the best results use the exact match feature. That way you are guaranteed that your ad will only show up on your specified keyword phrase only.

Set up a landing page that makes it easy for consumers to buy. Visitors do not want to click page after page to find out how to buy. Make the process as easy as possible.

Once you see which ads are doing well then eliminate phrases that are not. Don’t your attention on the ones that are performing well even if you end up using just one keyword. You can always test a new campaign with different phrases later.

Don’t waste too much time on a ad that is not bring any results. The income you can pay for on PPCs can ad up quickly if you are not generating any sales or signups. Give it no more than a week and if you are not seing any sales then pause your campaign and adjust your writing technique or try a new selection keyword phrases.

Take these tips to hard before you begin your Google ads. These tips were designed for begginers so I know that veteran users already know these techniques. But it is always helpful to see what others think.

Wp Wishlist Membership Review

Friday, June 19th, 2009

Should you buy the Wishlist Member for Wordpress Membership Site Management?

Instead of reviewing the WP Wishlist, let me first say that it is excellent. I use it on multiple membership websites and it is the fastest, easiest way to build a membership site and manage your members. This is especially true if you are proficient with Wordpress as a publishing platform.

But do not buy it yet!

Why? It has nothing to do with the WP Wishlist.

Instead, I want to tell you that setting up a membership website is harder than you probably realize. It takes time to develop the content and it takes time to market your membership site. You will find a lot of people on the web talking about what a great business model it is and how easy it is. Don’t get all excited about membership sites yet. It is not easy to set up a membership site, market the membership site, manage the members of the membership site and add fresh content to the membership site on a regular basis.

If you were making $10,000 a month on your membership site it would be easy. But what are you going to do if you are making $200 a month after a couple of months? Are you going to keep at it long term or give up? You certainly cannot pay other people much more content and marketing.

If you are serious about doing a Wordpress Membership Plugin, then you need to worry as little as possible about the technology. I went through five different technologies before finding WP Wishlist Member. I used Moodle, Ning, Drupal, Joomla and the Free Membership Pluging for Wordpress before I got WP Wishlist and simplified my life. Buy Wishlist Member and 1ShoppingCart and set it up. Then forget about the technology and focus on great content and marketing your membership site like a madman.

As I mentioned, Wishlist Member was my 6th membership site software solution I tried before I finally found something I could work with. I tried free membership site tools and other paid membership site options – and Wishlist Member was the simplest and let me forget about the management of membership and content.

Had I used WP Wishlist first, I would have been able to start doing more marketing six months earlier and made a lot more money. It is critical to keep as much of your time free for traffic generation and writing great content as possible.

Here are some features I love about WP Wishlist

  • Email to Members
  • Membership Levels
  • 1ShoppingCart and Paypal Integration

Another added bonus is that I bought the muli-site license and now I can launch a membership site in a matter of an hour or less. This means I can toss together a great bonus any time I need to. I use it as an upsell for several different products and programs and it costs me nothing extra.
