Look Stylish Even When Participating In A Man’s Sport
Tuesday, March 6th, 2012A woman doing a man’s thing is a good enough reason for a lady to be the object of attention. Remember the Middle Eastern woman who defied laws and drove in her own car? She was a subject of a lot of media hoopla and it was extremely contentious. When Amelia Earhart learned to fly the plane and overcome all the odds, cameras followed her just about everywhere. This is all the more reason to be fashionable. Of course, the Middle Eastern woman never drove in short shorts and sky high heels. But doing so would’ve made her more contentious and stories would be more colorful.
But that is not what this article is about. It’s about hunting for hunting apparel for women that will not make ladies look uninteresting. Obviously, when you embark on the hobby of hunting, it doesn’t mean that you have to do it because of fashion. Let’s face it, hunting is typically a man’s activity. It started with the dark ages when men hunted for something to eat for their family. The woman did the cooking and the man did the dirty work. But through evolution, women have become a little more involved and have even invaded the alpha male activity of hunting.
If women participate in hunting, it should be because of their love for hunting. It’s a game which involves a lot of endurance, waiting, accuracy and even sweat. But what I’m saying is, there is no reason to look manly in doing a man’s activity. Be feminine and cute, at least. Hunt for stylish hunting apparel.
When hunting apparel was couture, it was widely designed for men. So when dressmakers decided to entice ladies to order hunting apparel, they did so purely for fashion’s sake. Hunting apparel was stylishly made minus the comfort. Dressmakers believed that if women want to wear hunting apparel it was widely because of fashion and the uniqueness of it.
Hunting apparel for women was first non-functional. It was fit and body-hugging to show off the curves. So when women joined hunting because it is their hobby, they would rather wear the baggy hunting clothes made for men.
When women have become deeply involved with hunting and hunting apparel manufacturers realized this, it was the only time women’s hunting clothes married practicality and style. Women love to look good, it’s not a secret. Even Serena Williams, who gets sweaty on the court, decides to wear stylish, funky and loudly colored tennis outfits. After all, the world will be looking at you, you must deserve that attention.
